Stretching machine for shock absorber

The task of the machine tool is to control the stretching of shock absorbers with a maximum stroke 500mm. The tested shock absorbers have  different  strokes and the type of fastening on their both  ends.

The machine tool can be additionally equipped with:

  • changeable tools matched to a given reference;
  • storage areas for sockets.

 

Description of the operation

After the operator inserts the detail into the machine tool and initiates the cycle, an automatic process consisting of the following operations is performed:

  • detection of the shock absorber in the socket;
  • locking of the shock absorber thanks to the electric actuator (horizontal actuator);
  • beginning of  stretching the shock absorber to a given stroke by means of an electric actuator (vertical actuator);
  • displaying information about speed, position and stretching force on the operator panel;
  • descent  of the stretching tool;
  • unlocking of the detail.

ELECTRIC ACTUATORS

The machine is equipped with two BOSCH servo-electric actuators, with a force of up to 40 kN.

OPERATOR PANEL

The display and control elements enable you to select the appropriate reference, view the process status and control the individual drives of the machine. The operator panel is mounted on the RITTAL arm and therefore  it can be  moved  freely  in all directions.

CHANGEABLE TOOLS

The machine has the ability to stretch various types of shock absorbers, thanks to the possibility of changing tools that are coded. These tools are easily retrofit without using any tools.

SAFETY ASSURANCE LEVEL

In accordance with the client's guidelines and adaptation to the recommendations of the PN-EN ISO 12100 standard, the machine is equipped (depending on the type of process performed) with a number of technical safety measures, such as: emergency switch, light curtain, mesh guards.
